Custom Title Page (also known as a Dedication Page)

Most of our albums and journals can be made extra personal by adding a Custom Title Page inside. This is an especially elegant way to personalize your Epica journal or album. Dedication pages are often requested on journals or albums that are meant as a gift. You can also use this custom feature to commemorate a special occasion with a few lines or even a paragraph or two, printed in calligraphic script to match the style of the book. Your inscription will be dry-mounted inside your book: if it is a journal - onto the flyleaf, or in the case of journals that don't have a flyleaf, onto the first page of the journal. And, if it is an album, onto to the first mounting page.

A few examples:

•     Names and a date
•     The name of a special occasion, such as "Michelle's 50th Birthday"
•     A scripture passage
•     A dedication or personal love letter
•     A poem or inspirational quote
•     Anything at all!

Enter any text you like within the "Inscription" box; it will accept as much text as you choose to include.  Your inscription will be professionally typeset and printed in an appropriate and visually appealing font size, then mounted inside your Journal/Album with your personally selected color-coordinated border.

Laser Engraving

These rustic wood cover journals and albums are truly unique as no two are exactly alike. Make yours even more personal with LASER ENGRAVING!  Almost anything can be engraved into the wood of your wood cover, with some limitations on fine details. Perfect for family or club crests, corporate logos, or other images, provide an art file that has about the level of detail seen in the example photos. Letters and numbers are fine and in almost any font that you provide within your art file; note that thicker/wider letters and numbers will look better than thinner font styles.  

Your $115 fee includes basic retouching of your artwork, a digital proof of the retouched artwork, and laser engraving up to 4x4-inches positioned anywhere on the wood portion of the cover.  Larger engraving sizes are possible - call for pricing. We will let you know if your art file requires extra retouching by a graphics artist and if there is any extra fee. This is quite rare and is entirely dependent on the art file provided.

After completing your order, reply to our confirmation email with your art file as an attachment and include a note as to your preferred position: 1/3rd from top, centered or Exactly Centered or Bottom RH corner. 

Very Important - provide a Black-only, hi-resolution PDF file. 

Emboss Your Own Logo or Crest

These are just some examples of Custom Logos and Crests that customers have asked us to emboss on the cover of their journals & photo albums. Follow the easy steps shown in the gray shaded area and we will get your project underway promptly.

Tips for a beautifully embossed Logo or Crest - simple line drawings are best with no shading and always black-only art uploaded in a high resolution (.pdf or .ai format please). If your art file cannot be used as-is, we will let you know immediately and you can decide whether to select another file or have our graphics artist create one that can be used to cast in metal and emboss (there may be additional fees for graphics work).

The process - The art file that you have uploaded will be used to prepare a digital proof for your approval. Minor changes are complimentary. Once you approve the proof, a metal die will be cast in your selected dimensions and within a few days, we will emboss your cover and prepare your journal or album for shipping, along with any other personalization ordered. The entire process usually takes about a week. Note that the metal casting can be re-used.  We will ship the casting to you with your book unless you prefer to have us hold it for future use (we generally keep Corporate logo castings unless directed to return them).
